Modelling of OMPs removal in activated sludge and advanced oxidation systems - TKI Belissima

In this TKI project called TKI Belissima, two tools were developed: 1- A CAS-post-treatment tool, integrating the removal of OMPs in CAS systems with known quaternary technologies (including other technologies than AOPs); 2- An AOP post-treatment tool, with QSAR models for UV-H2O2 and single-stage O3, for secondary wastewater effluent. Tool 1 has been developed in BioWin, therefore it will require BioWin software to be able to use it. Regarding Tool 2, the models for UV-H2O2 and single-stage O3, will be available through a KWR-owned tool, AquaPriori, upon request. The use of the developed models in other WWTPs will necessitate prior validation against wastewater quality parameters of the intended locations.
