Discolouration of drinking water: an old problem clarified

Artikelen

“Each year there are large number of complaints to water utilities regarding discolouration of drinking water due to the resuspension of particle deposits within the pipe network. Jan Vreeburg explains how network built to provide fire-fighting flows rather than drinking water flows result in low velocities and particle deposition, and that a three-stage approach to incorporating the needs of both flows can reduce the discolouration of water.”
